JAN NIKLAS AS FRITZ PFEFFER
IN THE EMMY WINNING AND GOLDEN GLOBE NOMINATED ABC MINISERIES
“ANNE FRANK”
It really doesn't matter how many times you have seen previous versions of the story of Anne Frank, whose family tried to save itself from the Nazi invaders of Amsterdam by living in a secret hiding place. Watching ABC's four-hour sweep mini is like seeing it for the first time. No, it's even better. It's like seeing colors textures and patterns you never realized were there. Also crucial to the success of this mini are outstanding perfomances by the entire cast. |

Emerging as an outstanding actor in the international cast is Jan Niklas, whose captivating performance as the young czar is achieved with style and flair. He has the energy, vigor, excitement and physical grace of the late Errol Flynn and unquestionably walks away with the serie’s laurels, making Maximilian Schell - who plays Peter in his later years- look leaden by comparison. |
